Create credible local pages with accurate service areas, contact details and real evidence. Avoid duplicating the same content for every city.

Local SEO helps people find a business that is relevant to their area. For a service provider, the starting point is straightforward: explain where you work, what you offer and how a customer can verify it. Replacing a city name in an otherwise identical page does not create a convincing local offer.

Describe your actual service area

Distinguish a physical office from areas your team visits and markets served remotely. These are different arrangements. A company working online with Romanian clients should not imply it has an office in every Romanian city.

Publish accurate contact details and a clear collaboration process. Explain any conditions that apply to travel. For local services, availability and genuine coverage may matter more to a customer than a lengthy general description.

Decide when a city page is useful

A separate page makes sense when it offers distinct information: available services, a local team, genuine projects, attendance conditions or questions specific to the area. Without useful differences, a well-organised single page may serve readers better.

Use examples and photographs only when they are authentic and you have permission to publish them. Do not assign projects to a city simply because the keyword looks attractive. An optimised title cannot repair trust lost during the first enquiry.

Keep business profiles and your website consistent

If the business is eligible for Google Business Profile, check its information, category, hours and contact methods. Follow the platform’s rules for locations and service areas. Not every online-only business qualifies for a local profile.

Google describes relevance, distance and prominence in its local ranking guidance. Repeating a place name on a page cannot remove the effect of distance.

Measure relevant enquiries

Track calls and forms within your analytics configuration and applicable consent arrangements. Establish which service the person needs and where. Traffic from a city has limited value if enquiries fall outside your actual coverage.

Review opening hours, locations and services regularly. An outdated local page can create incorrect expectations even while it continues to attract visits.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a page for every town?

No. Create separate pages when you can provide genuinely distinct, relevant information and services. Avoid multiplying the same text.

Can a supplier guarantee first place in map results?

No. Results depend on several factors, including the searcher’s location and competing businesses. An absolute ranking promise is not a sound selection criterion.
